Yugoimport-SDPR unveils Gavran 145 at EDEX 2025: range 150 km, flight time 3 hours, 15 kg warhead, INS+GPS/GLONASS guidance, TV/IR sensors, 8–27 launch tubes.

At the EDEX 2025 exhibition in Cairo, Yugoimport-SDPR presented the Gavran 145 (Raven 145) guided missile system. According to Serbian analyst Dunav Intel, this model is aimed at deep penetration, real-time reconnaissance, and precision strike against armored or mobile targets. Key parameters include a range of up to 150 km, a maximum flight time of approximately 3 hours, a speed of 160 m/s, an operating ceiling of 2,000 m, and a combat payload of 15 kg.

Navigation and sensors

The Gavran 145 uses a combination of inertial navigation systems (INS) and GPS/GLONASS to ensure long-range navigation. This configuration allows for maintaining positioning accuracy throughout the journey, particularly useful when engaging targets beyond the tactical horizon. Television and infrared sensor systems support observation and targeting in varying lighting conditions, serving the role of real-time reconnaissance and precision strike as described.

Detonator and target

The 15 kg combat payload can carry various types of warheads: high-explosive rounds, tandem shaped-charge rounds, and high-yield explosive rounds. The tandem shaped-charge configuration mentioned is capable of penetrating more than 1 meter of armor after overcoming reactive protection, indicating its orientation towards combat against armored targets. The diversification of warheads expands the target range, from fortifications and light infrastructure to armored vehicles equipped with reactive protection.

Launch and deployment methods

Modular launch systems with 8 to 27 tubes allow for the preparation of firing salvos of varying scales, supporting the simultaneous firing of multiple rounds. This approach increases the probability of penetrating point defenses, creating continuous pressure on the target or simultaneously suppressing multiple dispersed targets. Modularization also provides flexibility in deploying launch vehicles and optimizing firepower density according to mission requirements.

Engine and operating configuration

The Gavran 145 can be equipped with various engine types: electric, gasoline, or turbofan. This engine type allows for a wide range of configurations depending on the mission and combat environment. Combined with a ceiling of 2,000 m and a speed of 160 m/s (approximately 576 km/h, converted from the original value), the platform is suitable for deep strike missions within tactical and short-term operational ranges.

Tactical role

According to Dunav Intel, the Gavran 145 is designed for real-time reconnaissance combined with precision strike capabilities, supporting the detection and engagement of armored or mobile targets at ranges up to 150 km. A maximum flight time of approximately 3 hours provides a sufficiently long observation window for target updates and timing of attacks. The ability to launch multiple rounds from an 8–27 tube modular launcher allows for saturation strikes, synchronized fire in waves, or sustained pressure in cycles.
