The competition among young computer scientists is intense.

(Baonghean.vn) - Over 200 students gathered and participated in a competition, demonstrating their understanding and ability to apply information technology to their lives.

The Youth Informatics Competition is an activity that creates a competitive movement, motivating and encouraging young people throughout the province to take the lead in learning, researching, and effectively applying scientific knowledge in information technology (IT).

The competition also serves as an opportunity to further assess the potential and ability of young people to absorb knowledge in informatics in particular and new technologies in general. Based on this, solutions can be proposed to train, nurture, and develop young informatics talents to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the province.

In particular, the competition will contribute to Nghe An province's goal of basically completing the construction of a provincial-level e-government by 2018.

The 23rd Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition - 2017 consists of two parts: a competition on informatics knowledge and skills; and a competition on creative products. Contestants can register to participate in one or both competitions. The competition is open to all students currently studying at the primary, secondary, and high school levels throughout the province.

This is also an opportunity to select and train the provincial team to participate in the 23rd National Youth Informatics Competition - 2017.The awards ceremony and closing of the competition will take place on the morning of May 7th.
