Domestic silver bar prices
The price of Phu Quy 999 silver is currently at 3.010 million VND/ounce (buying price) and 3.103 million VND/ounce (selling price), a decrease of 27,000 – 28,000 VND/ounce compared to April 15th.
The price of Ancarat silver bars (1 tael) in 2024 traded at 2.997 – 3.071 million VND/tael, a decrease of 24,000 VND in both directions.
DOJI 99.9% pure silver bars are listed at 3,021 - 3,114 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 20,000 - 21,000 VND.
Meanwhile, Sacombank's Kim-Phuc-Loc SBJ 999 silver bars decreased slightly by 9,000 VND/ounce, currently trading at 3,000 - 3,090,000 VND/ounce.

Domestic silver bar prices
The price of silver bars has seen a sharp decrease, ranging from 240,000 to 747,000 VND/kg. Phu Quy 999 silver bars are currently priced at 80.266 – 82.746 million VND/kg, a decrease of 720,000 – 747,000 VND/kg.
Ancarat 2025 silver bars traded at VND 78,994 - VND 81,394 million/kg, down VND 620,000 - VND 640,000/kg.
DOJI 99.9% pure silver bars remain the highest-priced on the market at 80,560 – 83,040 million VND/kg, despite a decrease of 533,000 – 560,000 VND/kg.
Sacombank's Kim-Phuc-Loc SBJ 999 silver bars have decreased by 240,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 80,000 – 82,400,000 VND/kg.
World silver prices
According to Kitco at 9:13 AM (Vietnam time), the world silver price fluctuated around $80.2 - $80.4 per ounce, an increase of nearly $1 per ounce compared to the previous session. Silver futures contracts on Investing recorded a level of $79.1 - $79.3 per ounce, with an intraday trading range of $78.24 - $81.02 per ounce. The world silver price is currently maintaining a balance around the $80 per ounce mark.
Reasons for silver price fluctuations
The main reasonsilver priceVolatility refers to a prolonged supply shortage. According to a survey by Metals Focus, the silver market is expected to face a deficit of 46.3 million ounces in 2026, marking the sixth consecutive year of shortages.
Industrial demand fell 3% to 639.6 million ounces, with solar silver consumption particularly declining 19% due to high prices. However, demand from other sectors such as electric vehicles, data centers, and global electrification continued to support the market.
Silver market outlook
According to Metals Focus, investment demand continues to be the main driver, with forecasts predicting global ETFs will attract an additional 30 million ounces in 2026.
Physical silver demand, particularly from India, remains stable and is considered a key pillar supporting silver prices. Experts predict that the silver market will continue to experience significant volatility due to liquidity and investment flows.
