Silver price today April 22, 2025: World silver prices rebounded as investors sought safe haven assets amid rising macro tensions. Meanwhile, the domestic market maintained stable prices.
In Hanoi, Phu Quy Jewelry Group listed silver prices at VND1,247,000/tael for buying and VND1,286,000/tael for selling, unchanged from the previous session. Some other trading points in the city also kept the buying price at VND1,033,000/tael and the selling price at VND1,063,000/tael.
In Ho Chi Minh City, a similar trend was recorded, when silver prices stabilized at VND1,035,000/tael for buying and VND1,068,000/tael for selling.

In the world market, at 5:50 a.m., the spot silver price reached 32.746 USD/ounce, up 0.246 USD compared to the same time the previous day. Converted by the exchange rate, the world silver price is currently equivalent to about 847,000 VND/ounce for buying and 852,000 VND/ounce for selling, a slight increase of 4,000 VND.
James Hyerczyk of FX Empire said that silver currently holds a special place in the global market because it is not included in the list of goods subject to tariffs. Because of its role as both a financial asset and an industrial raw material, silver maintains its appeal in the context of many disruptions to the global trade chain.
