Silver prices today, April 22, 2025: World silver prices rebounded as investors sought safe-haven assets amid rising macroeconomic tensions. Meanwhile, the domestic market maintained stable prices.
In Hanoi, Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group listed the price of silver at 1,247,000 VND/ounce for buying and 1,286,000 VND/ounce for selling, unchanged from the previous session. Several other trading points in the city also maintained the buying price at 1,033,000 VND/ounce and the selling price at 1,063,000 VND/ounce.
In Ho Chi Minh City, a similar trend was observed, with silver prices remaining stable at 1,035,000 VND/ounce for buying and 1,068,000 VND/ounce for selling.

On the world market, at 5:50 AM, the spot price of silver reached $32.746 per ounce, an increase of $0.246 compared to the same time the previous day. Converted using the current exchange rate, the world silver price is equivalent to approximately VND 847,000 per ounce for buying and VND 852,000 per ounce for selling, a slight increase of VND 4,000.
According to expert James Hyerczyk from FX Empire, silver currently holds a unique position in the global market because it is not on the list of goods subject to tariffs. Thanks to its dual role as both a financial asset and an industrial raw material, silver maintains its appeal amidst disruptions to global trade chains.
