Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, July 1st, 2025, continued their slight upward trend, fluctuating between 94,200 and 94,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Lak province are buying coffee at the highest price of 94,500 VND/kg, a slight increase of 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Nong province is 94,500 VND/kg, an increase of 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 94,400 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee increased by 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 94,200 VND/kg.

Compared to the beginning of May, coffee prices in the Vietnamese domestic market have decreased by nearly 28%, equivalent to 36,000 - 36,300 VND/kg. This is a sharp drop, clearly reflecting the impact of global oversupply and the lack of a clear recovery in consumer demand.
According to experts, coffee prices are unlikely to rise sharply this week without support from exchange rates or positive developments in the international market. The current trend remains sideways or slightly downward, as technical indicators suggest selling pressure is dominant.
Furthermore, the market is also influenced by international trade policy factors. In the US, the 90-day moratorium on increased import tariffs on coffee and some other goods is set to expire on July 9th. Once this moratorium ends, the risk of the US reimposing higher tariffs is causing concern among many businesses in the supply chain, even those with shipments already dispatched. The tariff suspension period is only temporary, and the re-imposition of tariffs will affect prices and the business plans of all parties involved.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market fell slightly on both exchanges:
Robusta coffee (London):
September 2025 delivery: Down $38/ton, to $3,623/ton.
November 2025 delivery: Decreased by $24/ton, to $3,569/ton.
Arabica coffee (New York):
September 2025 delivery: Down 1.85 cents/lb, to 301.9 cents/lb.
December 2025 delivery: Down 1.8 cents/lb, to 295.6 cents/lb.
According to a newly released report by Rabobank, global coffee consumption is projected to decline slightly by 0.5% in 2025. The main reason is the prolonged high price of coffee, as businesses pass on storage and operating costs to consumers, weakening purchasing power in many markets.
Conversely, global coffee supply is projected to increase sharply. Production in the 2025-2026 crop year could reach approximately 171.1 million bags, significantly higher than the previous year. This shifts the global supply-demand balance from a deficit of 900,000 bags in the 2024-2025 crop year to an estimated surplus of 1.4 million bags in the following year.
Against this backdrop, experts predict that coffee prices will continue to face significant pressure in the short term. Forecasts of increased production, particularly from Brazil, raise the risk of prolonged oversupply. Meanwhile, demand shows no clear signs of recovery due to high prices and weak purchasing power in major markets.
