Coffee prices today, November 10, 2025: Up for the 4th consecutive week.

Domestic coffee price update

At the end of last week, coffee prices in the Central Highlands region traded in the range of 118,000 - 119,500 VND/kg, an increase of 2,300 - 2,700 VND/kg compared to the previous week. This also marks the fourth consecutive week of price increases in the domestic market.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha areas saw a sharp increase of 2500 VND compared to the previous week, trading at the same level of 118,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak province, the Cu M'gar area is currently buying coffee at 119,500 VND/kg, an increase of 2,700 VND compared to last week. Meanwhile, the Ea H'leo and Buon Ho areas are trading at 119,400 VND/kg.

In Dak Nong (Lam Dong province), traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap increased prices by 2,500 VND compared to last week, trading at 119,500 and 119,400 VND/kg respectively.

In Gia Lai province, the Chu Prong area is trading at 118,800 VND/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are at 118,700 VND/kg, an increase of 2,300 VND compared to last week.

In early November, key coffee-growing regions of Gia Lai province, such as Chu Prong, Ia Grai, and Dak Doa, became bustling as they entered the new harvest season. Farmers were delighted because this year they had both a good harvest and good prices, creating an enthusiastic working atmosphere throughout the plantations. The sharp increase in domestic coffee prices in recent times has given farmers more motivation, especially after many years of being affected by fluctuating prices and unpredictable weather.

According to experts, this price increase stems from several factors. Global coffee supply, especially Robusta coffee, is under pressure due to unfavorable weather conditions in major producing countries like Brazil. Meanwhile, coffee consumption continues to increase globally, particularly in emerging markets, contributing to a sustained price increase for the "brown gold."

According to data from the General Statistics Office, in the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam exported approximately 1.31 million tons of coffee, an increase of 13.4% compared to the same period last year. The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (Vicofa) forecasts that if the weather is favorable, the 2025-2026 crop yield could increase by about 10% compared to the previous crop. Although some forecasts suggest that coffee prices may adjust slightly as major producing countries enter their peak harvest season, given the current supply and demand, prices are likely to remain high in the near future.

World coffee price update

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for January 2026 closed on November 8th at $4,648 per ton, up 2.6% ($118 per ton) from yesterday. The March 2026 contract rose 2.45% ($109 per ton), reaching $4,567 per ton.

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee futures for December 2025 delivery on the New York Stock Exchange rose 2.79% (11.05 US cents/pound) yesterday, reaching 407.8 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 1.79% (6.8 US cents/pound), reaching 385.85 US cents/pound.

Last week, the coffee market witnessed a strong recovery after a previous period of price decline. Robusta coffee futures for November 2025 delivery rose by $138/ton, while Arabica futures for December 2025 delivery increased by 15.75 cents/pound.

The main reason driving up coffee prices is the sharp decrease in inventories on exchanges, coupled with the impact of floods in Vietnam. Midweek, the market was pressured by news that Brazil was shipping 150,000 bags of Arabica to Europe for certification, causing a temporary drop in prices. However, by the end of the week, prices rebounded as harvesting progress in Vietnam slowed, reducing short-term supply.

In key coffee-growing areas of the Central Highlands such as Chu Prong, Ia Grai, and Dak Doa (Gia Lai), the harvest atmosphere in early November is bustling. Farmers are delighted because this year they have had both a good harvest and good prices. Reports show that the price of fresh coffee in Gia Lai reached approximately 25,000 VND/kg, while dried coffee fluctuated around 118,000 VND/kg, significantly higher than at the beginning of the season in previous years. This price not only provides coffee growers with a substantial increase in income but also contributes to an optimistic atmosphere throughout the Central Highlands region.
