Coffee prices today, June 10, 2025: Continuing to fall.
Today, June 10th, domestic coffee prices are at 113,200 - 113,800 VND/kg. Coffee prices have continuously decreased by 200 to 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Coffee prices have fallen to their lowest level since the beginning of December 2024.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region continued to fall today, June 10, 2025, fluctuating between 113,200 and 113,800 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are buying coffee at a maximum price of 113,800 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 113,800 VND/kg, a decrease of 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 113,500 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 113,200 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee prices continued to fall sharply, dropping to their lowest level since early December 2024. This marks the sixth consecutive week of decline in the domestic market.
According to experts, the main reason for the drop in coffee prices is that the market is entering a correction phase after a period of rapid increases in late May and early June. In addition, profit-taking pressure from speculators and aggressive selling by domestic growers have also contributed to the price decline.
Nevertheless, the medium-term outlook for the coffee market remains positive. Supply in Vietnam is currently limited, while inventory levels are low. Experts recommend that growers and investors calmly monitor market developments, avoid panic selling during price corrections, and pay attention to influencing factors such as the USD exchange rate and transportation costs.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market have risen sharply on both exchanges:
Robusta coffee (London):
July 2025 delivery: Increased by $107/ton, to $4,547/ton.
September 2025 delivery: Increased by $119/ton, to $4,458/ton.
Arabica coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Up 6.1 cents/lb, to 364.15 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Up 6.1 cents/lb, to 361.55 cents/lb.
The coffee futures market is currently facing significant volatility due to uncertainty surrounding global production prospects. According to Comunicaffe, the appreciation of the Brazilian currency against the US dollar to its highest level in seven and a half months is also strongly impacting daily trading trends.
Marcelo Moreira, an analyst at Archer Consulting, believes the ICE arabica market is oversold. He predicts that the July futures contract could correct upwards to the 370–380 cents/pound range if cold weather arrives in Brazil's coffee belt in the coming weeks, increasing the risk of frost that could damage production.
Furthermore, some experts warn that the upcoming expiration of short-term futures contracts could cause continued market volatility. Meanwhile, reports from the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) indicate that global arabica production in the 2025–2026 crop year may decline, a factor supporting a rise in coffee prices in the medium term.
