World coffee prices today

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for November 2025 delivery closed at $4480 per ton, down 1.92% ($88 per ton) from yesterday. The January 2026 contract fell 1.80% ($81 per ton), reaching $4391 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery fell 1.1% (4.2 US cents/lb) compared to yesterday, reaching 373.05 US cents/lb. The March 2026 contract decreased 1.11% (4.05 US cents/lb), to 356.35 US cents/lb.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery fell 0.8% (3.65 US cents/lb) compared to yesterday, reaching 445.9 US cents/lb. The March 2026 contract decreased 1.11% (5 US cents/lb), to 442.1 US cents/lb.

In the final trading session of the week, coffee prices on both the London and New York exchanges simultaneously adjusted downwards. The main reason was the depreciation of the Brazilian Real, prompting exporters and farmers in Brazil to increase sales to take advantage of the favorable exchange rate.

This situation has led to a rapid increase in coffee trade from Brazil, the world's largest producer, putting downward pressure on prices on exchanges.

Despite the decline, coffee prices are still being supported by tight supply. According to the latest data from the ICE Commodity Exchange, monitored arabica coffee inventories have fallen to just 509,383 bags, the lowest in 1.5 years. Robusta inventories have also dropped sharply to only 6,237 lots, reaching a 2.5-month low.

The limited supply is particularly evident in Asia, where Vietnam and Indonesia have yet to enter their peak harvest season, further exacerbating market tensions.

Experts believe that coffee prices may continue to fluctuate within a narrow range or decline slightly early next week, due to investor caution and the impact of the weak Real exchange rate. However, the long-term trend remains positive if inventories continue to remain low and global demand recovers.
