Currently, according to Mr. Le Duc Huy, Vice Chairman of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, the amount of coffee remaining in the hands of farmers is not much, and coffee growers are only selling in moderation. The supply is scarce because production is insufficient to meet demand, while the complex geopolitical context means that customers only buy according to actual needs, not stockpiling as before.

Mr. Huy stated that coffee prices are showing positive trends for farmers. Vietnamese Robusta coffee is increasingly favored by the Asian market. This opens up great opportunities for the Vietnamese coffee industry, but also poses a challenge in ensuring a stable supply and maintaining reasonable prices.

Given current trends, Mr. Huy predicts that the Vietnamese coffee industry could generate approximately $7 billion this year. If achieved, this would be a historic milestone, helping Vietnam solidify its position as one of the leading countries on the world coffee map.
