Coffee prices today, October 18, 2025: Continuing to rise.

In the Di Linh, Lam Ha, and Bao Loc areas (Lam Dong province), the price of coffee today is being purchased at 114,500 VND/kg, an increase of 800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In the Cư M'gar area (Đắk Lắk), the price of coffee today is 115,500 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo and Buôn Hồ, the price of coffee today is 115,400 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Similarly, in the Dak Nong area (Lam Dong province), today's coffee purchase price is 115,500 VND/kg; in Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap, it is 115,400 VND/kg. This is an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In Gia Lai province, today's coffee price is 115,000 VND/kg (Chu Prong), while in Pleiku and La Grai it is 114,900 VND/kg. This is an increase of 800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

World coffee market: At the close of the most recent trading session, Robusta coffee prices in London for November 2025 delivery fell by $41/ton to $4573/ton, and for January 2026 delivery fell by $44/ton to $4480/ton.

On the New York exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery fell by 3.4 cents/lb to 390.4 cents/lb, and for March 2026 delivery fell by 2.25 cents/lb to 371.15 cents/lb.

Entering the 2025-2026 coffee season, domestic and global coffee prices are expected to remain high. Industry experts believe this stable price trend is due to well-controlled supply and continued global demand.

Farmers now have sound finances after several successful harvests, enabling them to regulate sales volume and making it difficult for coffee prices to fall significantly in the near future. This is a key factor in maintaining market stability even as the new harvest season begins.

According to forecasts from specialized organizations, Vietnam's coffee production in the 2025-2026 crop year could increase by 5% to 10%. This is due to favorable weather conditions, good selling prices, and growers having the resources to invest more in crop care.

Over the past two years, farmers have also intensified replanting and expansion of cultivated areas, contributing to increased yields for the new crop. The application of science and technology and improved seed management have also helped Vietnam's coffee productivity continue to grow steadily.

According to the latest report from the International Coffee Organization (ICO), global coffee exports in August reached 11.35 million bags, down 3.7% from the same period last year, marking the second consecutive month of decline.

However, overall for the first 11 months of the 2024-2025 crop year (from October 2024 to August 2025), global exports still increased slightly by 0.2%, reaching 127.9 million bags.

Notably, exports from South America and Central America fell sharply by double digits, while Asia and Africa experienced positive growth. In particular, the Asia-Oceania region saw a 14.9% increase, reaching 3.5 million bags in August, with Vietnam playing the largest role in this growth.

In August, Vietnam's coffee exports increased by 38.9%, reaching over 1.9 million bags, the strongest increase among major producing countries. This also marks the seventh consecutive month that Vietnam has recorded positive export growth.

In total, from the beginning of the crop year to date, Vietnam has exported 25.8 million bags of coffee, an increase of 7.1% compared to the same period last year. This increase helps Vietnam continue to affirm its position as the world's largest exporter of robusta coffee.

Experts believe coffee prices are likely to remain high in the near future thanks to stable demand in Europe, the US, and especially emerging markets in Asia.

Amidst global economic fluctuations, coffee remains considered an agricultural product with sustainable consumption. With advantages in increased production and improved quality, Vietnam is expected to continue growing its exports in the new crop year, while also making a positive contribution to the global coffee supply chain.
