Domestic coffee prices today, June 19th, are at 109,100 - 109,700 VND/kg. Coffee prices continue to fall slightly, by 800 to 900 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The sharp drop in coffee prices stems from profit-taking pressure from speculators and signals of abundant supply from Brazil.

Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, June 19, 2025, continued to decrease slightly, fluctuating between 109,100 and 109,700 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Lak province are buying coffee at a maximum price of 109,700 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 900 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Nong province is 109,700 VND/kg, a decrease of 800 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 900 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 109,500 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 900 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 109,100 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee prices fell sharply today, clearly reflecting the impact from the global market. The plunge was mainly due to profit-taking pressure from speculators and signals of abundant supply from Brazil. On the domestic market, many export businesses temporarily suspended purchasing, while coffee growers switched to holding onto their stock, waiting for prices to recover.
The market is expected to remain volatile this week if inventories continue to rise and the US dollar maintains its strong momentum. Additionally, the Corpus Christi holiday on June 19th will bring an extended break in Brazil. Simultaneously, the New York Arabica coffee exchange will be closed for Juneteenth in the US, while the London exchange will continue trading in Robusta.
The recent sharp rise in the USD exchange rate has also put considerable pressure on the coffee market. A strong USD makes coffee more expensive for international buyers, slowing demand and pushing futures prices down.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market have fallen sharply on both exchanges:
Robusta coffee (London):
July 2025 delivery: Decreased by $155/ton, to $4,164/ton.
September 2025 delivery: Decreased by $148/ton, to $4,007/ton.
Arabica coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Up 6.6 cents/lb, to 329.25 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Up 5.95 cents/lb, to 326.5 cents/lb.
According to Reuters, traders said robusta coffee supplies are strengthening thanks to favorable harvesting progress in Brazil. This year's crop is expected to be bountiful, while weather in the main producing regions remains stable, with no significant fluctuations affecting yields.
In Vietnam, the robusta crop has been almost completely sold. Nevertheless, the outlook for the new crop is considered positive. Traders also note that geopolitical risks from the conflict between Israel and Iran are putting pressure on the market, but not creating the usual bullish effect.
As of June 17th, the conflict between Iran and Israel had entered its fifth day, with missile attacks causing significant damage. The tense situation has led some shipowners to choose to stay away from the Strait of Hormuz due to security concerns.
