Coffee prices today, September 20, are at 115,800 - 116,500 VND/kg, down slightly by 200 VND/kg. Arabica and Robusta coffee prices have both dropped sharply in long-term futures contracts.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, September 20, 2025, in the Central Highlands region decreased slightly by 200 VND/kg in Dak Nong compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 115,800 - 116,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 116,500 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 116,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged from yesterday and were traded at VND116,200/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged from yesterday at VND115,800/kg.
The world is experiencing a tense coffee price fever. In the US - the world's largest coffee consumer, retail prices have increased the most since 1997.
The root cause is a severe shortage of supplies from key producing countries such as Brazil and Vietnam. Climate change and extreme weather have damaged many crops, causing global output to plummet.
World coffee prices today
At the close of trading on September 19, on the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures contract for September 2025 delivery reached 4,665 USD/ton, down 0.06% (3 USD/ton) compared to yesterday. The futures contract for November 2025 delivery decreased by 6.88% (306 USD/ton), down to 4,141 USD/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 decreased by 3.94% (15.05 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 365.8 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in March 2026 decreased by 4.39% (15.9 US cents/pound), to 345.35 US cents/pound.
On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in September 2025 decreased by 0.76% (3.55 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 458.35 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in December 2025 decreased by 4.86% (22.4 US cents/pound) to 437.2 US cents/pound.
