In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 5000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 95,500 VND/kg.

In less than six months, domestic coffee prices have plummeted by nearly 30,000 VND/kg, with over 15,000 VND dropping in June alone. A cautious sentiment prevails in the market, with sellers increasing their prices sharply while buyers remain hesitant.
The continuous drop in coffee prices reflects increasing selling pressure from farmers, while many purchasing businesses have temporarily suspended transactions to await clearer developments in the global market.
Analysts believe the market is undergoing a technical correction after the rapid surge in April and May. Without further positive news, such as unfavorable weather conditions in major growing regions or a decline in global inventories, prices are likely to remain volatile at low levels in the short term.
In Vietnam, favorable weather conditions are helping coffee plants grow well. According to Icona Cafe traders, next season's yield could increase by about 10%, further putting pressure on the market due to concerns about oversupply.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market have fallen sharply on both exchanges:
Robusta coffee (London):
July 2025 delivery: Decreased by $147/ton, to $3,887/ton.
September 2025 delivery: Decreased by $150/ton, to $3,737/ton.

September 2025 delivery: Down 7.85 cents/lb, to 309.95 cents/lb.
The global coffee market continued its downward trend as prices fell sharply at the end of the week, extending a losing streak to eight consecutive weeks. Increased supply pressure from Brazil and Indonesia, along with positive signals from the Vietnamese harvest, is driving coffee prices to continuously hit new lows.
In the latest trading session, robusta coffee prices on the ICE exchange fell by more than 3%, reaching their lowest level in 13 months. Overall for the week, prices have dropped by as much as 13%. Meanwhile, arabica also fell to its lowest level in over 5 months.
According to Rabobank, the harvest in Brazil and Indonesia is enriching global supply amid signs of weakening demand. Similarly, trader Icona Cafe suggests that favorable weather in Brazil is accelerating the harvest, while the strengthening Brazilian real is causing exporters to limit coffee sales due to reduced profits when converted to local currency.
