Regarding export activities, in the first half of July 2025, Vietnamese businesses exported approximately 42,400 tons of green coffee beans, worth 208 million USD. The average export price of Robusta coffee during this period was 4,813 USD/ton, while Arabica was 6,473 USD/ton.
These figures indicate that coffee exports are entering the final stages of the season, with production and value significantly lower than in previous months. This further increases the unpredictability of the coffee market in the coming period.
Another factor influencing the market is the recent passage by the US House of Representatives of law, which establishes a legal framework for USD-pegged cryptocurrencies (stablecoins). According to expert Nguyen Quang Binh, this could draw capital to the cryptocurrency market, slowing down the operations of commodity exchanges.
Forecasting for this week, Mr. Binh believes that prices may rise slightly at the beginning of the week due to the effect of shipping goods from Brazil to the US. However, towards the end of the week, prices may weaken due to the influence of a strong US dollar and inventory pressure in the market.

Compared to the beginning of last week, coffee prices have surged this week, with triple-digit increases. However, according to many experts, whether this upward trend will continue remains difficult to predict, as the market is experiencing quite complex fluctuations.
Expert Nguyen Quang Binh believes that the reciprocal tax policies of the US are causing significant instability in the coffee market. This creates a favorable environment for large investors to manipulate prices, leading to unpredictable market fluctuations.
Although the US has set August 1st as the official date for implementing retaliatory tariffs, delays remain a possibility. Furthermore, some countries may take retaliatory measures, making the global coffee trade flow unpredictable.
