Coffee prices today, June 24, 2025: Forecast to fall further.

Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, June 24, 2025, remain unchanged, fluctuating between 95,500 and 96,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Lak province are buying coffee at the highest price of 96,000 VND/kg. This remains unchanged at 5,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Nong province remains unchanged from yesterday at 96,000 VND/kg.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged compared to yesterday, trading at 96,000 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged from yesterday at 95,500 VND/kg.

The domestic coffee market has remained sluggish in recent days, with quiet trading activity. Despite the significant drop in coffee prices compared to their peak earlier this year, farmers are still holding onto their stock, refusing to sell at current prices. However, due to the downward trend in the global market, domestic coffee prices are still under further downward pressure.
Since May, global coffee prices have fallen across the board as many countries enter their harvest season, with most experiencing bumper crops. Despite negative impacts from climate change on global weather conditions, yields remain favorable thanks to previously high coffee prices, which encouraged farmers to invest in improved crop care and productivity.
According to the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in the first five months of 2025, Vietnam exported 823,900 tons of coffee, earning $4.7 billion. Despite a slight decrease of 0.6% in production compared to the same period last year, export value increased sharply by 62.3%. The average export price reached $5,709 per ton (including processed coffee), 63.2% higher than the same period in 2024, indicating a significant improvement in the value of Vietnamese coffee on the international market.
Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States, and Japan remain Vietnam's five largest coffee import markets. Meanwhile, exports to traditional markets such as the US and the EU continued to grow steadily in May. Notably, emerging regions such as Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas are becoming bright spots in Vietnam's coffee export structure, opening up potential for market share expansion in the future.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market have risen sharply on both exchanges:
Robusta coffee (London):
July 2025 delivery: Decreased by $37/ton, to $3,924/ton.
September 2025 delivery: Decreased by $115/ton, to $3,852/ton.
Arabica coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Down 9.5 cents/lb, to 324.55 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Down 8.95 cents/lb, to 318.9 cents/lb.
According to the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), world coffee prices are under significant downward pressure due to abundant global supply and geopolitical instability in the Middle East. Notably, robusta coffee prices have fallen to their lowest level in months, mainly due to favorable harvesting progress in major producing countries such as Indonesia and Brazil, while the crop outlook in Vietnam is also clearly improving.
The latest forecast from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) indicates that Vietnam's robusta coffee production in the 2025-2026 crop year could increase by 7%, reaching approximately 31 million bags. Coffee production in Brazil is projected to increase slightly by 0.5%, to 65 million bags. Honduras is also forecast to see a 5.1% increase in production to 5.8 million bags.
Indonesia, one of the major robusta coffee exporters, is expected to produce 11.25 million bags in the 2025-2026 crop year, a 5.14% increase compared to the previous year. Of this, robusta production is projected at 9.8 million bags (a 5.38% increase), while arabica production is expected to reach 1.45 million bags (a 3.57% increase).
With the supply continuing to expand and consumer demand showing no significant surge, experts predict that coffee prices this week may continue to decline slightly or fluctuate around low levels. In the short term, analysts advise businesses and investors to exercise caution and avoid buying at the bottom until clear signs of recovery appear.
