World coffee prices today

At the end of the most recent trading session, the price of Robusta coffee in London for November 2024 delivery increased by 61 USD/ton, at 5,171 USD/ton, and for January 2025 delivery increased by 74 USD/ton, at 5,110 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee prices for December 2024 delivery increased by 2.80 cents/lb to 307.60 cents/lb, and for March 2025 delivery increased by 2.90 cents/lb to 305.15 cents/lb.

Coffee prices rose on concerns about bad weather in Vietnam and Brazil. A prolonged dry spell has affected Arabica coffee, with October rains helping the plants flower but there is still a risk of them not setting fruit.

Strong arabica exports have left Brazil’s end-of-season coffee inventories forecast at just 1.2 million bags, down 26% from a year ago. Production in 2024-25 has also been revised down to 66.4 million bags.

Heavy rains have destroyed 15% of Costa Rica’s coffee crop, causing $45 million in damage. Flooding and landslides from the storm have threatened the country’s famed arabica coffee industry.
