Coffee prices today, May 30, 2025: Continuing sharp declines.
Domestic coffee prices today, May 30th, are at 119,700 - 120,200 VND/kg. Coffee prices fell sharply for the second consecutive day, by 2,000 to 2,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The decrease in domestic coffee prices is less significant than the decrease in the international market.

Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, May 30, 2025, fell sharply for the second consecutive day compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 119,700 and 120,200 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are buying coffee at a maximum price of 120,200 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 2,100 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 120,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 2,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by 2200 VND/kg and are trading at 120,000 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee decreased by 2000 VND/kg and is now at 119,700 VND/kg.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts Vietnam's coffee production for the next crop season, beginning in October 2025, to increase to 31 million bags. This includes 30 million bags of Robusta and 1 million bags of Arabica, equivalent to 1.86 million tons – an increase from the 1.74 million tons of the current crop. Exports are expected to reach 27 million bags, while domestic consumption is also projected to increase sharply from 4 million to 4.9 million bags.
Although Robusta coffee prices have decreased, the domestic decline is still less significant than the decline in the international market. In the futures market, the price of coffee for delivery further in the future has fallen more sharply than for delivery in the near future, indicating that investors expect prices to continue to fall.
In particular, after November, Vietnam enters its peak harvest season, so the supply will be abundant. Experts also predict that within the next five years, Brazil's Robusta coffee production could reach 30 million bags, surpassing Vietnam, which is currently the world's leading exporter of Robusta.

Coffee prices on the world market fell slightly on both exchanges:
Robusta coffee (London):
July 2025 delivery: Down $22/ton, to $4,570/ton.
September 2025 delivery: Decreased by $28/ton, to $4,538/ton.
Arabica coffee (New York):
July 2025 delivery: Down 3 cents/lb, to 348.95 cents/lb.
September 2025 delivery: Down 3.7 cents/lb, to 346.15 cents/lb.
According to Reuters, the 2025 arabica coffee harvest in Brazil is beginning with mixed opinions. On the one hand, field activity confirms predictions of a poor harvest in the biennial cycle, resulting in lower expected yields. On the other hand, the size of the coffee beans has been noted to have improved significantly.
In the Cerrado Mineiro area, where only about 4% of the harvest has been completed, 30-40% of the coffee beans have reached a size of 17-18, almost the largest size, according to Wellis Caixeta, coffee purchasing director at the Expocacer cooperative. These large beans will easily fill 60kg bags according to international trade standards.
Caixeta said that this year's bean quality is superior to previous years, and this could be an indication that actual yields will be higher than expected. However, according to agronomist Jonas Ferraresso, who advises Brazilian farmers, overall yields remain low, consistent with forecasts for a cyclical crop failure year for arabica coffee.
