According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the first 11 months of 2025, coffee exports reached 1.4 million tons, worth 7.88 billion USD. Thanks to the sharp increase in coffee prices, export value increased by 60%, even though production only increased by 14% compared to the same period.
During this period, the average export price is estimated at $5,668 per ton, a 40% increase compared to the previous year. This development has greatly benefited businesses from the international market, especially given that both Robusta and Arabica coffee prices are at their highest levels in many years.
Germany, Italy, and Spain continue to be the three most important markets for Vietnamese coffee. In Germany alone, the value of coffee imports from Vietnam increased by 95% in the first 10 months, raising its market share from 21% to 24%. Although Germany's total coffee imports decreased slightly, Vietnam still maintains its position as the second largest supplier.
Experts believe the European market still holds significant potential, especially for high-quality products such as processed coffee, specialty coffee, and certified coffee. Leveraging the EVFTA will help increase the value of coffee exports and strengthen Vietnam's position in the global supply chain.

In the first 10 months, Robusta coffee exports reached nearly 1.08 million tons, valued at $5.54 billion. This growth stemmed from export coffee prices being 60% higher than the same period last year, helping this key commodity maintain its significant contribution to the industry.
Arabica exports reached 62.9 thousand tons, an increase of over 8% in volume and over 108% in value. Notably, processed coffee became a new driving force with revenue of $1.46 billion, a 58% increase compared to the same period, showing a strong shift towards value-added products.
The increasing proportion of processed and high-quality products contributes to strengthening Vietnam's position in the global supply chain. The coffee industry structure is shifting towards value enhancement, combined with rising export prices, creating a significant advantage for Vietnam in the international market.
