Rubber prices today, December 20, 2025: World rubber prices showed mixed movements on various exchanges, rising in Thailand and China but falling in Japan and Singapore.

Today's rubber prices (December 20, 2025) show mixed movements on major exchanges, as the market reassesses its supply outlook following more favorable weather conditions in key production areas.
In the Asian market, rubber prices in Thailand and China recorded a slight increase. Specifically, the price of January 2026 rubber futures in Thailand rose.0.5%(equivalent to 0.3 Baht), rising to 61.5 Baht/kg.
At the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), the March 2026 rubber contract rose.0.3%(equivalent to 50 yuan), reaching 15,375 yuan/ton. The May 2026 contract also increased by 45 yuan, to 15,320 yuan/ton.
Conversely, rubber prices in Japan and Singapore faced downward pressure. On the Osaka Stock Exchange (OSE), the January futures contract declined.0.2%(equivalent to 0.5 Yen), down to 324.5 Yen/kg. The May 2026 contract fell 2 Yen, to 331.3 Yen/kg. Similarly, on the Singapore Commodity Exchange (SICOM), the TSR20 January 2026 contract also fell.0.5%, down to 175.1 US cents/kg.
According to analysts, the declines in Japan and Singapore were mainly due to improved weather conditions in key rubber-growing regions, easing concerns about supply disruptions. This factor overshadowed positive signals from rising oil prices and a weakening yen.
Domestic rubber prices remain stable.
In the domestic market, the purchase price of raw rubber on December 20th remained unchanged compared to previous sessions. Transactions at major rubber companies did not record any significant fluctuations.
- Phu Rieng Rubber Company:The purchase price for liquid latex is 420 VND/degree TSC/kg and for mixed latex is 390 VND/degree DRC/kg.
- Binh Long Rubber Company:The price of liquid latex at the factory is 440 VND/degree TSC/kg, and at the production team it is 430 VND/degree TSC/kg. The price of mixed latex with a DRC of 60% is maintained at 14,000 VND/kg.
- Ba Ria Rubber Company:The price of liquid latex ranges from 410 to 420 VND/degree TSC/kg. Curdled latex with a DRC of 35-44% is purchased at 13,900 VND/kg, while cup latex and curdled latex with a DRC of 50% or higher are priced at 18,500 VND/kg.
- Mang Yang Rubber Company:The price of liquid latex ranges from 403 to 408 VND/degree TSC/kg, while the price of mixed coagulated latex ranges from 368 to 419 VND/degree TSC/kg depending on quality.
Overall, the domestic rubber market remains stable and has not been significantly affected by fluctuations in the global market. In the short term, rubber prices are expected to continue to trade sideways or experience slight corrections.
