The family clarifies misinformation about Duc Tien.
Information circulating on social media about Duc Tien having a heart condition since childhood or Binh Phuong being pregnant has been denied by the actor's family.
After Duc Tien's death was confirmed on May 19th, much information related to the actor was posted and spread on social media. Many friends revealed that the actor had suffered from heart disease since childhood, or that his wife, Binh Phuong, was pregnant with their second child.
However, in an interview with Tri Thuc - Znews on the afternoon of May 20th, Hoang Thao, Duc Tien's sister, affirmed that the information about her brother having heart disease was inaccurate. Regarding the information about Binh Phuong being pregnant with her second child, Hoang Thao declined to comment, stating that it was her sister-in-law's private matter.
Duc Tien passed away at the age of 44.
Ms. Hoang Thao added that she and her mother have not yet been able to arrange to travel from Vietnam to the US to handle Duc Tien's funeral arrangements because the procedures are not yet complete. The time and location for Duc Tien's funeral in the US have also not been finalized due to differences in US procedures compared to Vietnam. Currently, everyone in her family, especially her mother, is very sad and confused, so they cannot share any more information at this time.
Meanwhile, on her personal page, Trizzie Phuong Trinh, Bang Kieu's ex-wife, spoke out on behalf of Binh Phuong to correct the aforementioned information. According to Trizzie Phuong Trinh, the information that Binh Phuong is pregnant with her second child and that Duc Tien has a congenital heart defect is incorrect.

On May 19th, Hoang Thao, Duc Tien's younger sister, confirmed to Tri Thuc - Znews that the actor passed away after suffering a heart attack.
On the morning of May 20th, Duc Tien's wife, Binh Phuong, shared her first thoughts about her husband. Binh Phuong is still in shock over her husband's sudden death.
"My dear husband, your little family needs you, but why did God call you home so soon? But don't worry, you were a good father, a wonderful husband, a true friend. Leave everything here to me and those who have been with you through life. Rest in peace."", Binh Phuong reminded.
Posting a video capturing Duc Tien's final moments, singer Thanh Thao recounted that before the accident, Duc Tien brought her and his friends a jackfruit. The actor personally cut the jackfruit for his friends before collapsing.“Everything happened so fast right before my eyes that I was in shock. I immediately called emergency services and took Tien to the hospital. I still can't believe it when the hospital called. This morning, when I saw the emergency number in my call history, I burst into tears. I was completely stunned.”Thanh Thảo recalled.
