Instead of hatred, Ms. Anh decided to take Nhi home to care for her out of compassion for her orphaned situation, creating a touching turning point in episode 22 of the series "Family of Opposite Signs".
In episode 22 of the television series "The Family of Opposite Signs," viewers witnessed a deeply humane decision from the character Mrs. Anh (Meritorious Artist Kieu Anh). Despite being in a stressful situation after discovering her husband had a child with another woman, Mrs. Anh chose to open her heart and welcome Nhi into her home to care for her instead of letting her live in deprived conditions in the warehouse.
An unexpected encounter at the warehouse.
At the beginning of the episode, Mrs. Anh unexpectedly visits Duc and Van's warehouse to return some of Mr. Phi's (NSƯT Hoang Hai) belongings. Her unannounced appearance throws her son and daughter-in-law off guard, as they are secretly caring for baby Nhi there. Duc and Van try to find a way to conceal Nhi's presence to avoid further hurting their mother.
However, an unexpected situation arose when Nhi suddenly ran out of the room just as Mrs. Anh was about to leave. The truth about the two children secretly helping their father take care of the baby left Mrs. Anh utterly shocked.

Contrary to Duc and Van's fears of a fit of rage, Mrs. Anh decided to take Nhi to live with her. Her reason was that the warehouse was too cramped, and the late-night livestreaming environment would negatively impact the child's health and studies. Notably, Mrs. Anh admitted to her daughter Duong (Quynh Trang) that although her reason told her to hate Nhi, her heart felt deep compassion for her.
She saw a reflection of her younger self in Nhi – a child who grew up without knowing her father and had just experienced the pain of losing her mother. This empathy helped her overcome the pain of betrayal and protect the innocent child.

Duong played a crucial role in helping Nhi integrate into the family. She not only defended her mother but also gently comforted and sang lullabies to Nhi, dispelling her feelings of unfamiliarity and shyness upon moving in. Nhi also proved to be a very understanding and diligent child, proactively helping with household chores to ease the burden on Mrs. Anh.
Nhi's diligence surprised Mrs. Anh, because even Duc and Duong rarely volunteered to help their mother with housework like that. The child's small gestures were gradually softening the hearts of the family members, and at the same time, opening up hope for reconciliation between Mrs. Anh and Mr. Phi in the future.
