Family of Opposites Episode 8: Mr. Phi Confronts His Younger Brother's Creditors
Dramatic events continue in episode 8 of 'The Opposite Family' as Mr. Phi confronts his younger brother's creditors, while his conflict with his son, Duc, intensifies.
Creditors came to Mr. Phi's house.
In the latest developments of the series 'The Opposite Family', Mr. Phi (played by Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) and Mrs. Anh's family continue to face turmoil. Hoang (played by Viet Bac), Mr. Phi's younger brother, has absconded due to high-interest debt and inability to repay it. As a result, the creditors have come to Mr. Phi's house demanding that he settle the debt on behalf of his brother.
Hoang had long lived in the countryside with his father, but he had a carefree lifestyle, often got into trouble, and was always dependent, shifting all responsibility onto his older brother.
Family conflicts become more intense.
Meanwhile, the relationships between family members have become more complicated. Mr. Thang (Meritorious Artist Tien Minh) fears his daughter Van (Thuy Duong) is angry with him for inadvertently revealing that Duc and his mother came to borrow money. To make amends, he brings food to Duc (Thua Tuan Anh) and asks him to choose his words carefully to appease Van's anger.
Meanwhile, Duc asked his parents for permission to move into the warehouse, claiming it would be easier to look after the goods and get around. However, Mr. Phi didn't believe this reason and thought his son wanted to live separately so he could be free to see Van. Taking advantage of the situation, Mr. Phi continued to scold his son about the money he had borrowed from his parents but hadn't repaid.
The relationship between Mr. Phi and his son was always strained, lacking understanding and empathy because neither had ever truly put themselves in the other's shoes.
Episode 8 of the series 'The Opposite Family' will be broadcast at 8 PM on December 16th on VTV3 channel.
