Market analysis and assessment
Price movements on April 7th indicate that the live pig market has entered a recovery phase after a previous period of slight decline. The improvement in the Northern market is becoming the main driving force boosting the sentiment of pig farmers.
In the short term, pork prices are expected to continue their slight upward trend if there are no unusual fluctuations in supply. However, market experts believe that a significant increase is unlikely due to actual purchasing power and breeding costs still putting pressure on profit margins.
