Gia Lai to launch spectacular fireworks display for New Year's Day 2026.
Gia Lai organized a New Year's Eve Countdown program for 2026 with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the moment of transition to the new year 2026.
According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province, on the evening of December 31, 2025, the province will organize the Gia Lai Countdown New Year's Eve 2026 program with the theme "Igniting the Heart - Connecting Love".
The program took place from 8:30 PM to midnight on December 31st, with a live video link connecting Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon) and Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku City), and was simultaneously broadcast on GTV channel and the digital platforms of Gia Lai Newspaper and Radio and Television.
The highlight of the program is the spectacular fireworks display at midnight, marking the arrival of 2026, closing out 2025, and opening a new chapter filled with faith, hope, and aspirations for greater achievements.
The program consists of an opening and two chapters: "The Vitality of Spring - Spreading Love" and "Igniting the Flame of Youth - Bringing Together an International Space," combining modern music, performance art, images of the scenery of Quy Nhon and Pleiku, and traditional Central Highlands cultural values such as gongs and traditional dances.
Through this event, Gia Lai not only created a cultural and entertainment highlight on New Year's Eve, but also contributed to promoting the local image, fostering a spirit of unity and optimism, and looking forward to a peaceful and prosperous new year, in the context of the province preparing to host the National Tourism Year 2026.
