VinFast will discontinue its electric car and motorcycle battery leasing policy from March 1, 2025. The company will also extend the free battery charging service for an additional six months for customers who already own electric cars with batteries, until December 31, 2027. Regarding registration fees, Decree 51/2025/ND-CP (issued March 1, 2025) extends the 100% exemption from registration fees for battery-powered electric vehicles until February 28, 2027.

The design style, a collaboration between Torino Design and Pininfarina, is recognizable by the distinctive V-shaped grille at the front.
