Trends in domestic rice prices
According to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of some types of fresh rice has increased by 100 VND/kg compared to the end of last week. However, transactions in many localities such as An Giang, Dong Thap, Can Tho, and Vinh Long are quite slow, with few traders inquiring about purchasing.

In Ca Mau, ST and OM 18 rice varieties recorded a slight price decrease and trading volume was low. Other localities such as Dong Thap, Can Tho, Vinh Long, and Tay Ninh also experienced similar situations with limited supply, few buyers, and little price fluctuation.
Rice prices adjust in opposite directions.
In contrast to the trend in paddy prices, the prices of raw and finished rice have seen downward adjustments in some varieties. Transactions at warehouses in Lap Vo and Sa Dec (Dong Thap province) are slow, with warehouses mainly selecting high-quality rice for purchase.
