At retail markets, the prices of rice varieties remain unchanged. Nang Nhen rice has the highest price of 28,000 VND/kg. Jasmine rice costs from 18,000 to 20,000 VND/kg. Nang Hoa rice is sold at 20,000 VND/kg.

The price of ordinary rice is usually between 15,000 and 16,000 VND/kg. Long-grain Thai fragrant rice is priced between 20,000 and 21,000 VND/kg. Jasmine rice is priced at 18,000 VND/kg. Taiwanese fragrant rice is listed at 21,000 VND/kg.

Regular white rice costs 17,000 VND/kg. Soc rice usually costs from 18,000 to 18,500 VND/kg. Thai Soc rice costs 21,000 VND/kg. Japanese rice is sold for 22,000 VND/kg.

Vietnam's rice export prices are high in the international market. Specifically, the price of 100% broken rice is 455 USD/ton, 5% broken standard rice is 567 USD/ton, and 25% broken rice is 537 USD/ton.

Due to the impact of floods, rice supply may be reduced, leading to an increase in export rice prices. Rice exporters have signed large contracts at low prices and are waiting to buy rice at low prices to fulfill these contracts.
