As of February 10, 2026, rice prices in the Mekong Delta region remained stable. Fragrant rice varieties such as OM 18 and Dai Thom 8 remained at high levels amidst slow trading.
According to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province and Vietnam Rice, the rice market in the Mekong Delta on February 10, 2026, did not experience significant price fluctuations. Trading activity in many localities remained weak, with farmers mainly offering rice harvested after the Lunar New Year.
Fresh rice prices remain high.
In key areas, the price of fresh rice purchased by traders directly from the fields remained stable compared to the previous trading session. Specifically, high-quality fragrant rice varieties continued to lead in terms of price:

- Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh):6,500 - 6,700 VND/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices remain stable with no adjustments. Nang Nhen rice currently holds the highest listed price at 28,000 VND/kg. Other popular rice varieties such as Huong Lai rice fluctuate around 22,000 VND/kg, Thai long-grain fragrant rice ranges from 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg, and common white rice is at 16,000 VND/kg.
Regarding trading activity in localities such as An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Ca Mau, Vinh Long, and Tay Ninh, buying and selling is quite slow. Experts believe that the supply of winter-spring rice offered for sale mainly comes after Tet (Lunar New Year), leading to a cautious attitude from both buyers and sellers.
On the export market, according to data from the Vietnam Food Association, the selling prices of Vietnamese export rice continue to remain stable. Fragrant rice with 5% broken grains is currently trading around 415-430 USD/ton; Jasmine rice is at 426-430 USD/ton, and 100% broken grains are at 315-319 USD/ton.
