According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), Vietnamese rice export prices continue to maintain a price advantage over major competitors such as Thailand and India in many segments. Below is a table comparing the prices of 5% broken rice and 100% broken rice among major exporting countries:
| Nation | 5% broken rice (USD/ton) | 100% Broken Rice (USD/ton) |

In the short-term outlook, experts predict the market may experience a slight upward correction as supply enters the transition period between the winter-spring and summer-autumn crops at the end of May. The temporary shortage of goods during this period often puts upward pressure on prices before the start of the new harvest season.
