Fertilizer prices today, May 5, 2026: Stable across the board.

Fertilizer prices today (May 5th) remained generally stable compared to the end of April. Urea from Ca Mau was priced at 675,000 VND/bag, while Russian DAP was the highest at 1,245,000 VND/bag. Prices for other fertilizers such as potassium, phosphorus, and NPK fluctuated slightly within a narrow range, suitable for the needs of the summer-autumn crop.

The current listed price for Ca Mau urea fertilizer is commonly 675,000 VND/bag, with a trading range from 660,000 to 690,000 VND/bag. The price of Korean DAP fertilizer is 1,095,000 VND/bag, with a lowest price of 1,070,000 VND and a highest price of 1,120,000 VND/bag.

The price of Russian DAP fertilizer is currently higher, averaging 1.245 million VND/bag, within the range of 1,220,000 – 1,270,000 VND/bag. Thus, the price of DAP fertilizer imported from Russia is about 150,000 VND/bag more expensive than that from South Korea.

Domestic prices of powdered potassium fertilizer today, May 5, 2026

The price of powdered potassium fertilizer in Ca Mau is currently 560,000 VND/bag, with the lowest transaction price at 520,000 VND and the highest at 600,000 VND/bag. The price of powdered potassium fertilizer in Phu My is slightly lower, averaging 545,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 510,000 and 580,000 VND/bag. Compared to the beginning of the season, the price of potassium fertilizer is currently stable, without significant fluctuations, helping farmers manage their costs effectively.

Prices of Lam Thao and Van Dien phosphate fertilizers

The average price of Lam Thao phosphate fertilizer today is 305,000 VND/bag, with a low of 300,000 VND and a high of 310,000 VND/bag. Van Dien phosphate fertilizer is slightly higher, at 315,000 VND/bag, with a range of 310,000 – 320,000 VND/bag. Phosphate fertilizer prices are currently at their lowest level in the past six months, creating an advantage for the midland and mountainous provinces of Northern Vietnam.

Prices for various NPK fertilizers: 16-16-8, 18-8-18, 20-20-15

The price of Ca Mau NPK 16-16-8 fertilizer is currently 725,000 VND/bag (ranging from 700,000 to 750,000 VND). Dau Trau NPK 16-16-8 fertilizer is more expensive, averaging 800,000 VND/bag, with a range of 780,000 to 820,000 VND. Phu My NPK 16-16-8 fertilizer is priced at 715,000 VND/bag, with a lowest price of 690,000 VND and a highest price of 740,000 VND.

For NPK 18-8-18 Ca Mau, the average price is 735,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 720,000 and 750,000 VND. NPK 20-20-15 Binh Dien has the highest price, averaging 960,000 VND/bag, with a range of 940,000 to 980,000 VND/bag. Today's NPK fertilizer prices vary between brands by 10,000 to 85,000 VND/bag depending on the type.
