Pi Network price today, June 18, 2025
The price of Pi on the OKX exchange on June 18, 2025, is fluctuating around $0.5543 to $0.6007 (equivalent to VND 14,460 to VND 15,660). As of the time of writing, the price of Pi on the OKX exchange has decreased by 6.6% compared to yesterday, reaching VND 14,610.
Many Pi Network users are becoming increasingly impatient and demanding more substantial updates from the project. The fact that many users have yet to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process, while only six businesses have completed KYB (Know Your Business), is causing frustration.
The Pi Network Ventures fund, valued at $100 million and announced last month, has yet to see any concrete investment. On social media, one user expressed disappointment: "Great, but when will the KYC issues be resolved and the tools actually delivered?"
Pressure on the development team is rapidly increasing. Over 248 million Pi tokens are expected to be unlocked next month, raising concerns about a potential wave of mass sell-offs.
Without concrete steps such as listing on an exchange, developing tools for the ecosystem, or accelerating KYC verification, the project risks losing the trust of the very community that has supported it.
In that context, the release of the update related to the .pi domain was seen as insufficient and too late.

The latest update to Pi Network has drawn criticism from users.
The latest update to the Pi Network regarding the ".pi" domain auction is facing a wave of criticism from the user community. Although the Pi Core development team recently launched a new application to track bids and send email alerts, many believe this is a small step forward and doesn't deliver the expected value, especially with Pi2Day 2025 fast approaching.
The Pi Network pioneer community had high expectations for a groundbreaking announcement that would significantly boost the true value of the Pi token. However, instead of generating excitement, this update disappointed many because it failed to meet users' actual needs.
The lack of breakthrough updates has also eroded confidence in the future of Pi Network. Some have expressed concerns that the value of the Pi token will continue to plummet if the project doesn't take clearer steps in the near future.
Since the auction began three months ago, approximately 3 million Pi tokens, equivalent to $1.8 million, have been used to purchase domain names. However, this figure is still very small compared to the daily Pi trading volume, which is currently over $100 million.
Currently, Pi is trading around $0.60, down 35% in just one week and down 60% compared to last month. This indicates that the recent update has not yet generated clear growth momentum for the project.
