The price of Pi on the OKX exchange on March 28, 2025, is fluctuating around $0.7765 to $0.8924 (equivalent to VND 19,890 to VND 22,830). As of the time of writing, the price of Pi on the OKX exchange has increased by 4.2% compared to yesterday, reaching VND 21,010.
Compared to its initial price of $2/Pi on February 20th, Pi has lost 60% of its value, despite continued active trading.
A new turning point for Pi Network in April 2025.
April is expected to be a turning point for Pi Network as the number of tokens unlocked daily has sharply decreased from 13 million to approximately 3.8 million. Experts believe this could help stabilize the price of Pi, after the coin plummeted from $1 to around $0.80 since March 22nd.
In March, over 188 million Pi were unlocked for approximately 1.1 million users, contributing to a significant drop in price. With a current market capitalization of around $6.2 billion, Pi ranks 25th among cryptocurrencies.
Data from Pi Scan reveals a stark disparity in the amount of Pi users hold. As many as 83% of accounts (over 10.3 million people) own less than 10 Pi. Meanwhile, only 297 accounts hold between 100,000 and 1 million Pi, and a mere 22 accounts hold more than 10 million Pi.
The Pi Network (PCT) development team currently controls over 63 billion Pi, raising doubts within the community about the coin's ability to recover its price. Some analysts suggest that if Pi surpasses the $1.20 mark, it could reach $1.35, or even $3 if the upward trend is sustained.
However, selling pressure from users who have been mining Pi for a long time and now want to take profits could keep the price of Pi under pressure in the near future.
