RI6 durian in bulk maintains its selling price from the orchards at 25,000 - 28,000 VND/kg. The price difference between premium and bulk durian in this area is as much as 40,000 VND/kg.

Durian prices fluctuate significantly depending on the growing area code and export standards. On April 23, 2026, the People's Committee of Nghia Trung commune, Dong Nai province, held a meeting with Chanh Thu Group to discuss strategies for elevating the local durian industry.
Nghia Trung commune boasts 5,685 hectares of durian orchards, yielding an average of 18 tons per hectare. Nghia Trung durians are characterized by their yellow flesh and small seeds, meeting stringent international standards.
Both sides finalized a plan to support farmers in applying VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards in order to complete the procedures for applying for official export zone codes.
