RI6 durian in bulk maintains its selling price from the orchards at 25,000 - 28,000 VND/kg. The price difference between premium and bulk durian in this area is as much as 40,000 VND/kg.

The durian market in the Southeast and Central Highlands regions remained stable on April 24, 2026. Farmers in the Southeast region sold high-quality Thai durians at 75,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, 35,000 VND/kg higher than the price of lower-quality durians.

High-quality RI6 durians from the Southeast region are being sold by traders for 55,000 - 60,000 VND/kg. The Central Highlands region is recording the lowest durian prices in the country.

High-quality Thai durian from the Central Highlands is priced at 72,000 - 74,000 VND/kg, 16,000 VND/kg cheaper than in the Mekong Delta. Standard RI6 durian from the Central Highlands remains at 52,000 - 54,000 VND/kg.

Nghia Trung commune boasts 5,685 hectares of durian orchards, yielding an average of 18 tons per hectare. Nghia Trung durians are characterized by their yellow flesh and small seeds, meeting stringent international standards.

Both sides finalized a plan to support farmers in applying VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards in order to complete the procedures for applying for official export zone codes.
