Pork prices today, April 13th: Pork shoulder at WinMart remains at 168,900 VND/kg
On the morning of April 13th, pork prices at retail chains such as WinMart and Ha Hien remained stable. Meanwhile, live pig prices nationwide recorded mixed fluctuations, ranging from 62,000 to 69,000 VND/kg.
As observed during the morning session of April 13th, pork prices at major distribution units and in the live pig market are showing a clear divergence. At modern retail channels, prices remain stable, while the raw material market is experiencing contrasting price adjustments in the North and Central regions.
Retail pork prices at WinMart and Ha Hien remain stable.
According to a survey on winmart.vn, the price of chilled Meat Deli pork continues to be listed in the range of 110,320 - 204,900 VND/kg. Notably, WinMart members still enjoy a 20% discount when purchasing these products.

Specifically, pork loin is currently priced highest at this system at 204,900 VND/kg. Other products such as pork belly, pork shoulder, and boneless pork leg are priced at 199,901 VND/kg, 168,900 VND/kg, and 159,901 VND/kg respectively. The lowest price belongs to pork leg at 110,320 VND/kg.
At Ha Hien Fresh Food Company, pork prices remained unchanged, fluctuating between 80,952 and 190,476 VND/kg. Specifically, pork ribs were sold at 190,476 VND/kg, pork loin at 161,905 VND/kg, and pork belly at 152,381 VND/kg.

The live pig market shows mixed trends across regions.
The domestic live pig market is experiencing fluctuations depending on geographical region. In the North, transaction prices have decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg in some areas, bringing the general price level to 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. Localities such as Hanoi, Hung Yen Province, and Bac Ninh Province currently record the highest prices in the region at 65,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, live pig prices have seen an upward adjustment in Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces, currently fluctuating between 62,000 and 68,000 VND/kg. Dak Lak and Lam Dong provinces have the highest prices in the region at 68,000 VND/kg.
The southern region maintained the most stable prices nationwide, ranging from 66,000 to 69,000 VND/kg. Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province led the region with a price of 69,000 VND/kg, while An Giang Province and Can Tho Province had the lowest prices at 66,000 VND/kg.
Authorities in Hung Yen discovered and destroyed 570 kg of unsafe pig intestines.
Besides price fluctuations, food safety is also a top priority for authorities. According to information from the Hung Yen Provincial Market Management Department, Team No. 1 of the Market Management Department, in coordination with the Yen My Commune Police, discovered a vehicle with license plate 29C-226.92 carrying 570 kg of foul-smelling, decomposed pig intestines.
The owner of the shipment was identified as Mr. NDH, residing in Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi City. Authorities issued an administrative violation report with a fine of 10 million VND for transporting animal products that did not meet veterinary hygiene standards. All 570 kg of the infringing goods were immediately destroyed according to regulations to prevent their distribution to the market.
