Today, July 10th, domestic pepper prices are at 140,000 - 142,000 VND/kg. Domestic pepper prices remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Brazilian pepper exports increased sharply in the first six months of 2025, with Vietnam being the largest market.
Domestic pepper prices
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remained unchanged compared to yesterday. As a result, the average domestic pepper price is between 140,000 VND/kg and 142,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 142,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Dak Nong remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 141,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is 140,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 140,000 VND/kg.
In addition, the price of pepper in Binh Phuoc today remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on July 9th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,547 per ton. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$10,195 per ton.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,225 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$8,900/tonne. Additionally, the price of ASTA white pepper from the same country also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$11,750/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) reached US$6,440/ton; and the price of black pepper (550 gr/l) reached US$6,570/ton.
Similarly, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,150 per ton.
Brazilian pepper exports surged in the first six months of 2025, with Vietnam being the largest market.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), citing data from Comexstat, Brazil exported 5,758 tons of pepper in June 2025, earning $66.4 million. Compared to the previous month, production decreased by 44.4% and export value decreased by 43.2%. However, compared to the same period last year, exports increased by 8% in volume and a sharp 64.4% in value.
The US was Brazil's largest import market in June with 1,134 tons, followed by Vietnam with 808 tons, India with 743 tons, Senegal with 450 tons, and Morocco with 440 tons. The average export price for the month reached US$6,547 per ton, an increase of US$135 compared to the previous month.
By the end of June 2025, Brazil's total pepper exports reached 49,761 tons, with a value of $309.7 million. Compared to the same period in 2024, production increased by 33.8% and value increased sharply by 118.6%.
Vietnam is the largest market for Brazilian pepper, consuming 17,563 tons, accounting for 35.3% of total exports, an increase of nearly 200% compared to the same period last year. Other major markets include the UAE, India, Senegal, and Morocco. The average export price in the first six months of the year reached US$6,224 per ton, an increase of 63.4% compared to the same period in 2024.
