Domestic pepper prices on May 12, 2026

In Gia Lai,pepper pricesToday, the price is being purchased at 141,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to the previous session. This area still has the lowest price level in the market.

In the Ba Ria - Vung Tau area, the price of pepper reached 143,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg. This price is on par with Binh Phuoc.

In Binh Phuoc, the price of pepper also increased by 500 VND/kg today, currently trading around 143,000 VND/kg.

Dak Lak and Dak Nong continue to be the two regions with the highest pepper prices in the country, at 144,000 VND/kg. Prices in these two localities remain unchanged compared to yesterday.

Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570 rose by $50/tonne to $6,150/tonne. This marks the second consecutive week of price increases for Brazilian pepper.

Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remain stable at US$9,300/ton. Vietnamese black pepper exports currently range from US$6,100 to US$6,200/ton depending on the 500 g/l and 550 g/l grades.

White pepper prices continue to remain high.

Indonesian Muntok white pepper edged up slightly to $9,179 per ton after a $15 per ton increase.

The price of Vietnamese white pepper is currently maintaining at $9,000 per ton, approximately $3,200 per ton lower than Malaysian ASTA white pepper.

Malaysian white pepper is currently trading at $12,200 per ton and continues to be the highest-priced white pepper on the international market.
