Domestic pepper prices remained stable at an average of VND149,600/kg, without any major fluctuations. Despite the flat price, Vietnamese pepper continues to make a positive impression on the international market, especially in the US.

According to the Center for Industry and Trade Information (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the domestic market is currently slowing down to wait for new signals. In the short term, the upward trend in pepper prices is expected to continue, contributing to supporting pepper growers and promoting agricultural exports in the last months of 2025.

Looking back over the past years, the Vietnamese pepper industry has gradually overcome the difficult period to regain its inherent position. The change in farmers' farming mindset, combined with the right direction from the agricultural sector, is creating a solid foundation for pepper plants to develop in a safe, effective and sustainable direction.

In the context of the temporary stagnation of domestic pepper prices, Vietnam's maintaining its number one position in the US market is not only a commercial achievement, but also a testament to its efforts to increase the value of agricultural products. With a long-term strategy and support from the Government, Vietnamese pepper is fully capable of maintaining its global position and expanding to many other demanding markets in the coming time.
