Domestic pepper prices remained stable at an average of 149,600 VND/kg, with no major fluctuations. Despite the sideways price, Vietnamese pepper continues to make a positive impression on the international market, especially in the US.

According to the Center for Industry and Trade Information (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the domestic market is currently stagnating, awaiting new signals. In the short term, the upward trend in pepper prices is expected to continue, contributing to supporting pepper growers and boosting agricultural exports in the final months of 2025.

Looking back over the years, Vietnam's pepper industry has gradually overcome difficult times to regain its former position. Changes in farmers' farming mindset, combined with sound guidance from the agricultural sector, are creating a solid foundation for the development of pepper cultivation in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner.

Amidst temporarily stagnant domestic pepper prices, Vietnam's continued position as the number one pepper producer in the US market is not only a trade achievement but also a testament to efforts to enhance the value of agricultural products. With a long-term strategy and government support, Vietnamese pepper is fully capable of maintaining its global standing and expanding into other demanding markets in the future.
