The International Pepper Community believes that the pepper market in the last week of January showed a positive outlook, with no countries reporting a decrease.

In 2025, pepper exports will have many favorable conditions but also many unpredictable factors. Depending on the purchasing pace of key markets such as the US and China, the price increase margin could be sharp or only around 10% - 15% compared to the current level.

In particular, China will increase its purchases as soon as Vietnam enters its main harvest season in March-April 2025, while the US may buy more slowly due to large inventories carried over from 2024.
