Market analysis and assessment

The sideways movement of pepper prices globally indicates that the market is in a phase of accumulation and balance between supply and demand. Major importers are not yet ramping up purchases for the early part of the year, while inventory levels are still being carefully managed by businesses. Analysts believe that, in the short term, pepper prices are unlikely to experience significant spikes unless new weather conditions emerge in key growing regions or changes in monetary policy affect transportation and export costs.
