Domestic pepper prices on December 26th increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg, reaching a high of 150,500 VND/kg in Dak Lak and Lam Dong. The global market remained stable.
On the morning of December 26th, the domestic pepper market recorded a slight increase in most key producing areas. According to surveys, purchase prices uniformly rose by 500 - 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the common trading price to 148,500 - 150,500 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands and Southeast regions, pepper prices have seen positive adjustments after several stable sessions. Specifically, the strongest increase of 1,000 VND/kg was recorded in Gia Lai and Ho Chi Minh City. Other localities such as Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and Dong Nai recorded an increase of 500 VND/kg.

The international market remains stable.
In contrast to the recovery of the domestic market, world pepper prices, according to updates from the International Pepper Association (IPC), currently show no new fluctuations. Major export markets such as Indonesia, Brazil, and Malaysia all maintained the same price levels as yesterday's trading session.
Specifically, the price of Lampung black pepper from Indonesia remained at US$6,809/ton; Muntok white pepper reached US$9,146/ton. In Brazil, ASTA 570 black pepper remained stable at US$6,250/ton. The Malaysian market also held steady with ASTA black pepper at US$9,200/ton and ASTA white pepper at US$12,300/ton.
For Vietnam's pepper exports, prices remain high. Vietnamese white pepper is currently priced at $9,250 per ton. Black pepper (500 g/l and 550 g/l) is priced at $6,500 per ton and $6,700 per ton, respectively.
