Ms. Hoang Thi Lien, Chairwoman of VPSA, confirmed that the VIPO 2026 Conference is scheduled to take place in Da Nang on March 3-4, 2026. Today's world pepper prices
According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), at the close of the most recent trading session, the IPC listed Indonesian Lampung black pepper at US$7,004/ton and Muntok white pepper at US$9,657/ton.
Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper is priced at US$6,250/ton (up 1.2%). Malaysian ASTA black pepper is priced at US$9,000/ton; Malaysian ASTA white pepper is priced at US$12,000/ton.
Today, Vietnamese black pepper is trading at US$6,500/ton for the 500 g/l variety; US$6,700/ton for the 550 g/l variety; and white pepper at US$9,250/ton.
According to preliminary data from VPSA, in the first half of November 2025, Vietnam exported 8,244 tons of pepper, earning $52.6 million. Large enterprises such as Simexco Dak Lak, Olam, and Haprosimex JSC played a key role in export activities during this period.
Previously, pepper exports reached a record high in the first 10 months of 2025, totaling $1.4 billion. This figure not only surpassed the total export value of 2024 but also nearly reached the record level of 2016, demonstrating a strong recovery. The United States remains Vietnam's largest pepper import market.
VPSA advises businesses to focus on traceability and strictly adhere to rules of origin. This is essential to ensure sustainability, especially as technical barriers and policies of major importing countries are significantly impacting the market.
Regarding the outlook, VPSA forecasts that import prices and demand will continue to increase from now until the end of 2025 due to a balance between supply and demand. However, pepper prices may face downward pressure in 2026 as production recovers. The association recommends that businesses proactively manage inventory and supply to take advantage of increased demand towards the end of the year.
