In Ho Chi Minh City (formerly merged with Ba Ria - Vung Tau), the price of pepper today is 139,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc, now merged), the price of pepper today is 139,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Overall, over the past week, pepper prices in key producing provinces and cities have increased slightly by 1500 to 3000 VND/kg compared to the previous week. Specifically, prices in Dak Lak increased by 1500 VND/kg. In Gia Lai, prices increased by 3000 VND/kg. Prices in Dak Nong increased by 2000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, including Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, pepper prices uniformly increased by 2000 VND/kg compared to the previous week.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on August 3rd (Hanoi time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,063 per ton. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,873 per ton.
The price of Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper remained stable at $6,000 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$8,900/ton. Additionally, the price of ASTA white pepper from the same country remained stable at US$11,750/ton.
Prices of various types of Vietnamese pepper remained stable compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) reached US$6,140/ton; and the price of black pepper (550 gr/l) reached US$6,270/ton.
Similarly, the price of Vietnamese white pepper compared to yesterday reached US$8,850/ton.
In summary, over the past week, global pepper prices have fallen sharply in major export markets such as Indonesia and Vietnam. Specifically, Indonesian black and white pepper prices decreased by $73/ton and $102/ton respectively compared to the previous week. Export pepper prices in Vietnam also dropped sharply by $300/ton.
Conversely, the export price of Brazilian pepper increased by $100/ton, due to exporters actively stockpiling goods before the imposition of retaliatory tariffs of up to 50%.
