Today, November 9, 2025, pepper prices range from 145,000 to 147,000 VND/kg, remaining stable throughout the past week. Indonesian export pepper prices have seen a slight increase after several sessions of stagnation.
Domestic pepper prices today, November 9, 2025
Specifically, the price of pepper in Dak Lak is being purchased at 147,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. The price of pepper in Chu Se (Gia Lai) is being purchased at 145,000 VND/kg, also unchanged from yesterday. The price of pepper in Dak Nong today is recorded at 147,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper prices today remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the price is currently at 145,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday; in Binh Phuoc, the price of pepper today is also at 145,000 VND/kg.

According to export businesses, demand for pepper imports from Europe and the Middle East is gradually improving, but the increase is modest and not enough to create strong momentum for the market. Domestically, supply remains abundant as many localities have entered the new harvest season. Therefore, the supply is ensured, helping the domestic pepper market maintain stability.
Analysts believe that current pepper prices remain high compared to the same period in 2024, providing good profits for farmers. Forecasts indicate that domestic pepper prices will stabilize around 145,000-150,000 VND/kg until the end of the year, before potentially rising again if export activity improves in early 2026. Despite minor fluctuations in the international market, Vietnamese pepper prices maintain a strong position, reinforcing Vietnam's image as a world leader in pepper exports.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), by the end of October 2025, Vietnam had exported 206,427 tons of pepper, earning $1.39 billion. Despite a 5.9% decrease in volume, the value still increased by 25.4% thanks to export prices of $6,628/ton for black pepper and $8,683/ton for white pepper, representing increases of 36% and 34% respectively compared to the previous year. Simultaneously, domestic businesses increased imports of raw materials for processing and re-export, reaching 37,783 tons with a value of US$236.9 million, a significant increase in both quantity and value compared to 2024. Thanks to high export prices, recovering international demand, and a strategy to expand raw material sources, Vietnam's pepper industry is nearing its target of US$1.5 billion in 2025, marking an impressive comeback for this key agricultural product.
Today's world pepper prices
According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), at the close of the most recent trading session, the IPC listed Indonesian Lampung black pepper at US$7,111/ton (up 0.03%) and Muntok white pepper at US$9,749/ton (up 0.02%).
Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper is priced at US$6,100/ton. Malaysian ASTA black pepper remains stable at US$9,200/ton; the price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper reached US$12,300/ton.
Vietnamese black pepper prices remained stable at high levels today, trading at US$6,400/ton for the 500 g/l variety; US$6,600/ton for the 550 g/l variety; and white pepper at US$9,050/ton.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), data from Comexstat shows that Brazil's pepper exports in October 2025 reached 6,209 tons with a value of US$38.9 million, a slight increase compared to the previous month but significantly higher than the same period in 2024. The UAE continued to be the largest importing market with 811 tons, although down nearly 27% compared to September. Vietnam ranked second with 767 tons, double the previous month, while Pakistan reached 677 tons, an increase of nearly 19%.
In the first 10 months of 2025, Brazil exported 70,198 tons of pepper, earning $435.7 million, a 32.5% increase in volume and nearly 90% in value compared to the same period in 2024. Compared to the same period in 2023, export volume increased by nearly 7%, but value increased by over 115%, clearly reflecting the improvement in the average export price, which reached $6,207/ton, a sharp increase of 43.2% compared to last year. Vietnam was the largest consumer market, importing 20,117 tons, accounting for 28.7% of the market share and increasing by nearly 190% compared to the same period. Other major markets including the UAE, India, Morocco, and Senegal also recorded significant increases.
According to VPSA, Brazil's pepper production in 2025 is projected to reach approximately 90,000 tons, a 20% increase compared to 2024. Espirito Santo state accounts for more than half of the production, followed by Para and Bahia states. The significant increase is driven by favorable weather conditions, resulting in higher yields, and continued expansion of new planting areas since the beginning of the year. At this rate, Brazil is consolidating its position as one of the world's leading pepper producers and exporters.
