According to export enterprises, the demand for pepper imports from Europe and the Middle East is gradually improving, but the modest increase is not enough to create strong momentum for the market. Domestically, the supply is still abundant as many localities have entered the new harvest period. Thanks to that, the supply is guaranteed, helping the domestic pepper market maintain a stable state.

Analysts believe that the current pepper price level is still high compared to the same period in 2024, bringing good profits to farmers. It is forecasted that from now until the end of the year, domestic pepper prices will stabilize around 145,000 - 150,000 VND/kg, before possibly increasing again if export activities improve in early 2026. Although the international market has small fluctuations, Vietnam's pepper prices still maintain a solid position, consolidating the image of the world's leading pepper exporter.

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), by the end of October 2025, Vietnam had exported 206,427 tons of pepper, reaching a turnover of 1.39 billion USD. Although output decreased by 5.9%, value still increased by 25.4% thanks to the export price of black pepper reaching 6,628 USD/ton and white pepper 8,683 USD/ton, up 36% and 34% respectively compared to the previous year. Along with that, domestic enterprises increased the import of raw materials for processing and re-export, reaching 37,783 tons with a value of 236.9 million USD, a sharp increase in both volume and value compared to 2024. Thanks to high export prices, recovering international demand and a strategy to expand raw material sources, the Vietnamese pepper industry is approaching the target of 1.5 billion USD in 2025, marking an impressive return of this key agricultural product.

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), data from Comexstat shows that Brazil's pepper exports in October 2025 reached 6,209 tons with a value of 38.9 million USD, a slight increase compared to the previous month but much higher than the same period in 2024. The UAE continues to be the largest import market with 811 tons, although down nearly 27% compared to September. Vietnam ranked second with 767 tons, double, while Pakistan reached 677 tons, up nearly 19%.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Brazil exported 70,198 tons of pepper, bringing in 435.7 million USD, up 32.5% in volume and nearly 90% in value compared to the same period in 2024. Compared to the same period in 2023, export volume increased by nearly 7% but value increased by more than 115%, clearly reflecting the improvement in average export price reaching 6,207 USD/ton, a sharp increase of 43.2% compared to last year. Of which, Vietnam is the largest consumer market, importing 20,117 tons, accounting for 28.7% of market share and increasing by nearly 190% over the same period. Other major markets including UAE, India, Morocco and Senegal all recorded significant increases.

According to VPSA, Brazil's pepper output in 2025 will reach around 90,000 tonnes, up 20% from 2024. Espirito Santo state accounts for more than half of the output, followed by Para and Bahia states. Production has increased sharply thanks to favorable weather conditions, which have led to higher yields and new planting areas that have continued to expand since the beginning of the year. At this rate, Brazil is consolidating its position as one of the world's leading pepper producers and exporters.
