Vietnamese pepper export prices remain high.

Despite a stagnant domestic market, Vietnam's export prices for pepper remain high compared to regional competitors. Specifically:

  • Black pepper, 500 gr/l:6,600 USD/ton.
  • Black pepper, 550 gr/l:6,800 USD/ton.
  • White pepper for export:9,350 USD/ton.

The fact that export prices remain high shows that the quality of Vietnamese pepper still retains its appeal in the international market, despite pressures from exchange rates and logistics costs. Experts predict that the market may maintain this accumulation phase before establishing a new trend in the coming weeks.
