World gold price today, October 13, 2025, and chart of world gold price fluctuations over the past 24 hours.
According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 4:00 AM on October 13th (Vietnam time) was $4012.81 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is up $122.06 USD/ounce compared to the beginning of last week. Converted using the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,384 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 127.6 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees).

Global gold prices recorded an impressive 2.7% increase, breaking the historical $4,000/ounce mark twice. The main reason stems from investors seeking safe-haven assets amid increasing geopolitical and economic risks.
The rise in global gold prices is driven by a number of factors: geopolitical instability, persistently high inflation, fears of economic recession, sharply rising public debt, and declining confidence in the US dollar and other fiat currencies.
These factors show no signs of cooling down, so many experts believe it's difficult to say whether the upward trend in gold prices has ended.
However, the fact that gold has risen more than 50% this year, and silver by as much as 71%, suggests that a short-term correction is possible. Some analysts predict prices could retreat to the $3,600/ounce range if the market corrects by around 10%.
According to Kitco News' weekly survey, after the price of gold surpassed $4,000, half of Wall Street experts shifted from bullish to neutral.
Of the 17 experts surveyed, 8 (47%) predicted that gold prices would continue to rise next week, 2 (12%) believed prices would fall, and the remaining 7 (41%) predicted that gold prices would remain stable.
On the individual investor side, 295 people participated in the online poll. Of these, 202 investors (69%) expected the price of gold to continue rising, 52 people (18%) predicted a decrease, and 41 investors (14%) believed the price of gold would remain stable next week.
