Gold prices today, February 18, 2026: Prices of SJC gold, domestic gold rings, and world gold on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year (earliest update).
Gold prices on February 18, 2026 remained at 178–181 million VND/ounce; many brands increased prices, but some adjusted slightly downwards.
Gold prices today, February 18, 2026, continue to remain within the range of 178-181 million VND/ounce on the second day of Tet (Lunar New Year).
As of Wednesday morning (February 18, 2026), the domestic gold market recorded SJC gold prices fluctuating around 178-181 million VND/ounce, reflecting a week of notable volatility among gold trading businesses.

At SJC, the buying price at the end of the first week of February stood at 176.3 million VND/ounce. After more than a week, this was adjusted up to 178 million VND/ounce. Thus, each ounce of gold purchased since the beginning of the month has yielded a profit of approximately 1.7 million VND.
The situation at DOJI is somewhat more cautious. On February 8th, the company listed the buying price at 176.3 million VND/ounce, but by the beginning of this week, it had retreated to 176 million VND/ounce. This adjustment of approximately 300,000 VND/ounce means that investors who bought earlier are temporarily incurring slight losses.
At Mi Hong, the upward trend is more evident. From 177 million VND/ounce on February 8th, the buying price had risen to 178.5 million VND/ounce by February 18th. This increase of 1.5 million VND/ounce is enough to generate relatively positive profits for short-term transactions.
The PNJ system also recorded positive movements. The purchase price at the end of the first week of February was 176.3 million VND/ounce and has now risen to 178 million VND/ounce. The difference of 1.7 million VND/ounce reflects the corresponding investment efficiency for early participants.
At Bao Tin Manh Hai, the buying price on February 8th was 176.3 million VND/ounce. By February 18th, this figure had increased to 178 million VND/ounce. The profit recorded was approximately 1.7 million VND/ounce, similar to other businesses that saw significant price increases.
For Bao Tin Minh Chau, the buying price at the end of the first week of February was 176.3 million VND/ounce and was raised to 178 million VND/ounce on February 18th. Investors who bought at the old price range are currently making a profit of approximately 1.7 million VND per ounce.
Unlike most of the aforementioned businesses, Phu Quy maintained its buying price at 176 million VND/ounce this week, 300,000 VND lower than the 176.3 million VND/ounce price on February 8th. This means that previous buyers are temporarily recording a corresponding loss.
