According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 5:00 AM Vietnam time today was $2,496.12 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by $1.88 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's price. Converted using the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,160 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 76.56 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 3.93 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

The steady inflow of funds into exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is a factor that analysts at Citi and Bank of America believe could drive gold prices up to $3,000 per ounce next year.
Ajay Garg, director and CEO of SMC Global Securities, believes geopolitical premiums will also impact gold prices in 2025 due to the Ukraine war and tensions in the Middle East. Furthermore, inflation remains a concern and is above the Fed's 2% target.
"Gold has a positive correlation with inflation, so the price should be higher. Fears of recession and the US election will continue to drive up gold prices, and it could reach $2,800-$3,000 per ounce by 2025. Additionally, central banks continue to buy gold. The supply of M2 is higher, and gold prices are likely to rise positively," Garg said.
