Gold prices continue to plummet
Today, the price of 9999 gold, SJC, 24K, DOJI, PNJ continues to slide. World gold hits its lowest level in the past 6 months. At the time of survey at 5:30 a.m. on September 28, 2023, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies is as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 68.00 million VND/tael for buying and 68.90 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 68.20 - 68.55 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 68.07 - 68.68 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 68.07 - 68.68 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Japanese Yen Exchange Ratedecrease without brakes
Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of September 28 at banks, specifically as follows:
At Vietcombank, the buying rate of Japanese Yen is 158.86 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 168.17 VND/JPY, down 0.24 VND in both directions. At Vietinbank, the Yen rate decreased by 0.57 VND in both buying and selling directions, equivalent to 158.9 VND/JPY and 168.6 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate decreased by 0.28 VND and the selling rate decreased by 0.27 VND to 160.24 VND/JPY and 168.58 VND/JPY. At Agribank, the buying rate and selling rate were 161.42 VND/JPY and 165.41 VND/JPY, down 0.02 VND.
At Eximbank, the buying and selling rates decreased by 0.03 VND at the buying rate, reaching 161.18 VND/JPY, and the selling rate remained unchanged at 165.76 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.04 VND at the buying rate and decreased by 0.07 VND at the selling rate, with the prices being 156.91 VND/JPY and 169.16 VND/JPY, respectively. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.07 VND at the buying rate, corresponding to the price of 161 VND/JPY, and decreased by 0.06 VND at the selling rate, corresponding to the price of 167.55 VND/JPY.
According to the survey, today Agribank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and at the same time, Agribank is also the bank with the lowest selling rate among the surveyed banks.
World USD price hits new peak
The central USD/VND exchange rate today (September 28) announced by the State Bank increased by 4 VND compared to September 27, currently at 24,088 VND/USD. The world USD exchange rate set a new peak in the past 10 months.
Currently, the USD exchange rate that commercial banks are allowed to trade is from 23,400 - 25,242 VND/USD. The selling exchange rate is also adjusted by the State Bank of Vietnam to the buying and selling range of 23,400 - 25,242 VND/USD.
The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank kept the buying price unchanged at 24,200 and the selling price at 24,540. The buying and selling prices of USD are currently in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.
PriceDomestic coffee prices rise again
Domestic coffee prices updated at 4:20 a.m. on September 28 increased again, an increase of 200 - 300 VND/kg, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is 66,400 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on September 28 was VND66,300/kg. In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at VND66,700/kg (an increase of VND300/kg).

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 65,900 VND/kg (an increase of 200 VND/kg).
In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 66,400 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 66,500 VND/kg (an increase of 300 VND/kg).
