Gold prices on the rise, USD recovers
World gold prices are on track to approach an all-time high. The USD price is showing signs of recovery after falling to a 2-month low.

On the world market, on the night of April 6, Vietnam time, the world spot gold price stood at around 2,015.3 USD per ounce. Gold for June delivery on the Comex New York floor was at 2,032.1 USD per ounce.
World gold priceis on track to approach its all-time high, reached in the summer of 2020 at $2,078.80 an ounce, amid an economic downturn and a possible rate cut by the US Federal Reserve soon.
Abovestock market, in the trading session on April 6, VN-Index decreased quite sharply. At the end of the trading session, VN-Index decreased by 9.95 points, down to 1,070.91 points. HNX-Index decreased by 1.15 points, down to 211.43 points. UpCoM-Index increased by 0.60 points, up to 78.34 points.
Aboutdollar price, the exchange rate of Vietnamese Dong against the US dollar was listed by the State Bank on April 6 at 23,601 VND, down 1 VND compared to the previous day. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Exchange was listed at 23,450 VND for buying and 24,780 VND for selling per dollar.
In the world, the DXY index measuring the fluctuations of the US dollar against a basket of 6 major currencies at 10:00 p.m. on April 6 increased by 0.07%, reaching 101.93 points.
Gasoline pricesToday, the world market reversed to increase after a slight decrease in the previous session. At 19:33 on April 6, Brent crude oil price was traded at 85.2 USD per barrel, up 0.21 USD compared to the previous session. Meanwhile, WTI oil price was traded at 80.74 USD per barrel, up 0.13 USD compared to the previous session.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today are applied according to the prices at the April 3 management session of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased to VND22,080 per liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline is VND23,120 per liter. The price of diesel is no higher than VND19,430 per liter. The price of kerosene is VND19,030 per liter.
