Gasoline and diesel prices continue to fall to their lowest levels in over a year.
Each liter of gasoline will decrease by 370-500 VND, and other petroleum products will also drop by 70-150 VND per liter or kilogram depending on the type, effective from 3 PM today.
According to adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, each liter of RON 95-III gasoline has decreased by 500 VND, to 20,700 VND per liter. E5 RON 92 gasoline now costs 19,970 VND, a decrease of 370 VND.
With the further reduction in today's price adjustment, gasoline prices have returned to the same levels as in June 2021.

Oil prices also cooled down. Kerosene and diesel both fell by another 70 dong compared to 10 days ago, to 21,830 dong and 21,600 dong per liter respectively. Mazut, however, decreased by 150 dong, to only 12,680 dong per kilogram.
In today's price adjustment, the central bank continued to suspend both the allocation to and disbursement of funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the decision not to draw from or release funds from the Price Stabilization Fund aims to support price reductions for petroleum products and stabilize the market during the year-end and Lunar New Year holidays.
The average price of refined gasoline decreased by 1-1.3% over the past 10 days, while diesel prices increased slightly. For example, each barrel of RON 95 gasoline is now $87.24, down nearly 1.4%.
